Bahadir Peksen

Bahadırhan Pekşen born in Istanbul-Beyazıt in 1985, The visual language created by Bahadırhan is inspired by personal metaphysical experiences and the aesthetic perception of Neolithic civilizations.

Peksen approaches his art with a minimalist view towards the extravagance of contemporary society as it consumes the
resources of the planet. He adopts an abstract mode of expression in his works to offer the audience an abundance of possibility.
From the first archeological findings which allowed our species to convey their ideas to the present, the artist traces the forms, basic geometries and layout styles that carry more information than content in stone sculptures, clay tablets, fabric, paper and architectural
elements. Through these works, he shows that the past exists in harmony with the "Contemporary" as a single structure.
