Alan’s work to date straddles the boundaries of contemporary craft, sculpture and architecture and has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. Graduating with a Masters in Architecture from University College Dublin in September 2015. Alan currently works from his studio in County Laois, imagining and creating one of a kind artworks. Alan is DCCOI - Future Maker of the year 2017. Recent Awards include; The RDS Craft Awards 2018, and RIAI Public Space award 2018 with A2 Architects. Alan’s work was part of the RHA 187th Annual Exhibition and won the Tresor-Discovery Award at Tresor Contemporary Craft 2017 in Basel, Switzerland. Alan's work was shown by Design Ireland at Maison et Objet Paris, January 2020 and formed part of ''Surface Matters'' - Portfolio Critical Selection 2019-2020.
